...LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW IN THE POCONOS...

SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE IN THE POCONOS LATE THIS MORNING
BEFORE GRADUALLY TAPERING OFF TO FLURRIES DURING THE EARLY TO MID
AFTERNOON. THROUGH 2 PM, AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF SNOWFALL IS
POSSIBLE AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 1500 FEET IN CARBON AND MONROE
COUNTIES, WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN IN THE MIDDLE AND UPPER
20S. INCLUDING THE SNOWFALL THAT HAS ALREADY FALLEN THIS MORNING
AND THE EXPECTED SNOWFALL THROUGH 2 PM, LOCALIZED SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE AT THESE HIGH
ELEVATIONS.

BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY SPOTS IF TRAVELING THROUGH THESE
MOUNTAINS AS UNTREATED ROADS, BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES BECOME SNOW
COVERED.
