...Freezing rain above 1000 ft elevations...

Locations above 1000 feet in elevation continue to see freezing
rain late this morning. Additional ice accumulations are expected
for the highest elevations, including High Point, over the next
few hours before changing over to rain during the afternoon as
temperatures rise. Motorists are urged to use extra caution and
be alert for quickly changing road conditions.

Additional freezing rain or wintry precipitation may be possible
late this afternoon and early this evening as rain ends and
temperatures drop again. Any additional ice accretion this evening
should be limited to less than one tenth of an inch at the highest
elevations.
