...THUNDERSTORMS WITH PEA SIZE HAIL THROUGH THIS EVENING...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE FOR
PORTIONS OF WESTERN NEVADA AND EASTERN CALIFORNIA THROUGH THIS
EVENING.

BEST CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ALONG AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 80. SMALL HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH MANY OF THESE
STORMS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE AN ISSUE WITH FUTURE THUNDERSTORMS
THAT DEVELOP. ALTHOUGH MUCH OF THE HAIL WILL BE PEA SIZED...THE
STORMS COULD PRODUCE ENOUGH TO COAT AREA ROADS AND CAUSE SLICK
DRIVING CONDITIONS. STORMS ACROSS EAST SPARKS ARE PRODUCING
ENOUGH HAIL TO COVER THE ROADS...SO WE URGE DRIVERS TO PROCEED
WITH CAUTION AND SLOW DOWN ON HAIL COVERED STREETS. BRIEF HEAVY RAIN
COULD ALSO TEMPORARILY REDUCE VISIBILITIES AND LEAD TO
HYDROPLANING ON AREA ROADS.

PLEASE REPORT WEATHER CONDITIONS TO NWSRENO ON FACEBOOK AND
TWITTER.
