Temperatures through mid-morning are expected to range generally
between 5 below and 15 below zero. Some colder spots in the basins
will be down to around 25 below zero. Frostbite can occur in as
little as 10 to 20 minutes at those bitter cold temperatures. The
most susceptible parts of the body to frostbite are the
extremities such as fingers, toes and the tip of the nose. If you
must go outside, dress in several layers of loose fitting,
lightweight, warm clothing. Also, please make sure your pets have
some shelter from this extreme cold, and a source of unfrozen
