...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT FOR SOUTH
CENTRAL HORRY COUNTY...

At 407 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a few lingering showers and
thunderstorms were weakening. However, minor flooding in the
advisory area is likely ongoing as two to three inches of rain fell
over a short period of time.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Myrtle Beach, Nixonville and Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Significant additional rainfall is not expected over the area during
the next hour. Flooding from previous heavy rain could linger
through 500 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
