Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
535 PM MDT Mon May 13 2024

.Discussion...

Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through the rest
of this week. Daytime highs will be warm tomorrow, with highs
climbing back into the mid and upper 80s across our plains. Relative
humidities will also be drier tomorrow, with values dropping back
into the mid and upper-teens across our plains, though chances for
afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are also expected
for tomorrow as well. Some storms could be strong to severe
tomorrow, with damaging winds be the primary threat.

Precipitation chances increase again Wednesday into Thursday as
another weather system moves across the region. Temperatures will
cool off to near to or below normal both days. Warmer and drier
conditions return for late week into next weekend with temperatures
rebounding to above normal.

Though most zones will see at least "good" rates for afternoon smoke
dispersions, rates will vary greatly across the district on both
Tuesday and Wednesday. Please see specific zone forecasts below for
more details.
