NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SOUTHERN REGION HEADQUARTERS

TO:ALL SOUTHERN REGION OFFICES
FROM:  SOUTHERN REGION HEADQUARTERS (SRH)
SUBJECT:  SRH ROC IN LEVEL 2 (SEVERE WEATHER) OPERATIONS

THE SOUTHERN REGION HEADQUARTERS (SRH) REGIONAL OPERATIONS CENTER
(ROC) IS NOW IN LEVEL 2 OPERATIONS IN ASSOCATION WITH THE SPC
MODERATE RISK OUTLOOK AND POTENTIAL FLASH FLOODING ACROSS THE
SOUTHEAST US.

UNDER LEVEL 2 OPERATIONS, THE SRH ROC WILL BE PHYSICALLY STAFFED
WITH EXTENDED HOURS AS NEEDED UNTIL THE SEVERE WEATHER AND FLOODING
THREAT IMPACTS HAVE SUBSIDED.

THE ROC MAY BE CONTACTED VIA THE PRIMARY NUMBER 817-978-1100, EXT
147. IF NO ONE ANSWERS, WE ARE LIKELY ON THE OTHER LINE OR HAVE
STEPPED OUT FOR A MINUTE. PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE AND WE WILL GET
BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
