.SHORT TERM...
TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...SATELLITE IMAGERIES SHOW A
SURFACE TROUGH SLIGHTLY TO THE NORTHEAST OF THE ISLANDS. ASCAT
SWATH FROM THIS MORNING REVEALED BREEZY SOUTH WINDS ACROSS THE
SAMOAN REGION. RAOB FROM THIS AFTERNOON DEPICTS A DRY AND STABLE
PROFILE. MODELS ARE SLOWLY MOVING THE SURFACE TROUGH EASTWARD. ON
THE SAME NOTE...A HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM FAR SOUTH OF TONGA IS ALSO
MOVING EASTWARD. BREEZY SOUTHERLIES ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH TO
GENTLE CONDITIONS ON FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE GRADUALLY SHIFTING EAST
ON SATURDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL BECOME LIGHT AND VARIABLE ON
SATURDAY NIGHT. MOST OF THE UNSTABLE WEATHER PATTERNS WILL REMAIN
TO THE SOUTH OF THE ISLANDS DURING THE SHORT TERM. THEREFORE NO
CHANGES TO THE PREVIOUS FCST.

.LONG TERM...
SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...MODELS CONTINUE TO BRING A SURFACE
TROUGH ACROSS THE ISLANDS ON MONDAY AND HOLD IT UNTIL TUESDAY
NIGHT. HOWEVER...A MID LEVEL RIDGE EXTENDING FROM THE EAST WILL
MINIMIZE SHOWERS ACROSS THE ISLANDS DURING MOST OF THE LONG TERM.
WILL KEEP SHOWERS AT A MINIMAL AND WINDS LIGHT AND VARIABLE.

.MARINE...
HAZARDOUS SEAS ARE EXPECTED TO SUBSIDE BELOW ADVISORY LEVELS ON
MONDAY MORNING. WAVE WATCH ANALYSIS DEPICTS SEAS 8 TO 10 FT ACROSS
COASTAL WATERS. SEAS ARE EXPECTED TO SUBSIDE 7 TO 9 FT ON SUNDAY
MORNING. WITH HAZARDOUS SEAS IMPACTING COASTAL WATERS AND
SHORELINES WILL ISSUE A HIGH SURF ADVISORY AND A SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY FOR THE MARINE AND COASTAL WATERS.
