NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PAGO PAGO AS
136 PM SST SAT MAR 25 2017

.SHORT TERM...
TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...HIGH PRESSURE TO THE SOUTH IS
SLOWLY MOVING EASTWARD. AN ASSOCIATED RIDGE WILL REMAIN TO THE

THIS AFTERNOON DEPICTS A STABLE PROFILE. A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH
FROM THE EAST WILL PASS ACROSS THE ISLANDS ON MONDAY. HOWEVER
MODELS CONTINUE TO MINIMIZE SHOWERS OVER THE ISLANDS THROUGHOUT
THE SHORT TERM.

.LONG TERM...
TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...AN ASSOCIATED RIDGE WILL REMAIN NEARLY
STATIONARY TO THE SOUTH FOR THE REST OF THE LONG TERM. A COUPLE OF
WEAK TROUGH FROM THE EAST WILL PASS ACROSS THE ISLANDS BUT MODELS
CONTINUE TO REDUCE SHOWERS TO A MINIMUM. THEREFORE NO CHANGES TO
THE PREVIOUS FORECAST.
