.TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...A MONSOONAL TROUGH WILL ENHANCE
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
THE AREA THROUGH THURSDAY. THE LATEST RAOB DATA SHOWS NORTHWEST
WINDS ALOFT UP TO 18 KT NEAR 850MB. CLOUDS ALONG THE MONSOON
TROUGH AXIS WILL DAMPEN THE FCST ZONES. THEREFORE...ANTICIPATE
SCATTERED TO OVERCAST CLOUD COVERAGE AND HIGHER GUSTS DURING LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

.LONG TERM...
.FRIDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...CLOUD REMNANTS FROM THE MONSOON TROUGH
WILL LINGER OVER THE SAMOAN ISLANDS THIS FRIDAY. THUS...DRIER
WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED AS THE HIGH PRESSURE TO THE
SOUTHEAST SWEEPS EASTERLY WINDS STARTING SUNDAY. IF MODELS ARE
CORRECT...SCATTERED LIGHT SHOWERS FROM THE MONSOON TROUGH WILL
DISSIPATE SATURDAY MORNING THUS ALLOWING ONLY ISOLATED SHOWERS TO
MOVE ACROSS THE FCST ZONES DURING NEXT WEEK. FOR NOW...WILL KEEP
THE PREV FCST THE SAME. WILL PROVIDE UPDATES AS NEW MODELS BECOME
