The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas
  Northern Lancaster County in south central Pennsylvania...

* Until 1230 AM EDT

* At 922 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated locally very heavy rain
  continuing to fall due to thunderstorms. Radar estimated that
  between 3 and 3.5 inches of rain has fallen since early this
  evening in several locations across central and northern Lancaster
  County, with immediate surrounding areas seeing 1 to 2 inches.

* Additional rainfall of 1 to 1.5 inches is expected across portions
  the advisory area between 930 pm and 1130 pm tonight.  This
  additional rain will result in overflowing poor drainage areas,
  and minor flooding adjacent to some small streams.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Akron, Ephrata, East Petersburg, Mount Joy, New Holland, Manheim,
  Lancaster, Lititz, Elizabethtown and Leacock.


Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
