...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in

  South Platte River near Roscoe affecting Deuel and Keith Counties.

.Flooding continues on the South Platte River through Deuel and
Keith Counties in southwest Nebraska. The river is expected to
remain nearly steady of slightly fall through the weekend, however,
early next week a rise in the river level is expected. A second
crest near 10.1 feet is possible on Wednesday at the Roscoe
gauge site.

Additional rainfall chances over the next week and above normal late
season snow pack in the upper reaches of the river basin will
promote elevated flows along the South Platte River in southwest
Nebraska through at least the end of the month.


Safety Message. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where water
covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your
car to cross safely and the road beneath may not be intact. Vehicles
caught in rising waters should be abandoned quickly.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The South Platte River near Roscoe.

* At 9:30 AM on Friday May 22 the stage was 9.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Forecast is for the river to remain nearly steady today then slowly
  fall to near 9.2 feet over the weekend, then rise back up to
  around 10.1 feet by the middle of next week.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Water reaches the gage house floor.
