  Mississippi River at Helena affecting Lee...Phillips...Coahoma and
  Tunica Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The next River Statement will be issued tomorrow morning or sooner if conditions
warrant.

For graphical river and flood information...please go to
www.weather.gov and click near Memphis on the map. Then select Rivers
and Lakes AHPS under current conditions.

Do not drive through flooded areas...turn around don`t drown.

Stay tuned to your weather radio and your local news media for the
latest river information.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  the Mississippi River at Caruthersville
* until Friday June 02.
* At 08 PM Thursday the stage was 31.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 31.1 feet Friday May 26.
* At 31.0 feet...In Arkansas, road and field flooding is widespread
  at Cottonwood Point. Access roads off Arkansas Road 362 are
  flooding. In Tennessee, grain shipping facility south of Heloise is
  mostly under water. Dee Webb Road and Watkins Road are flooding,
  along with Brady Ridge Road. Barr Road north of Wardlow Pocket Area
  is being covered.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  the Mississippi River at Memphis
* until Sunday May 28.
* At 08 PM Thursday the stage was 29.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 29.5 feet Friday May 26.
* At 30.0 feet...In Memphis, the boat landing on the north end of Mud
  Island at the mouth of the Wolf River is covered. In Arkansas,
  recreational vehicle park south of West Memphis starts to flood.
  Dacus Lake Road is flooding north and south of I-40. The river is
  against the toe of the levee from the north Shelby County line
  south to near Sulcer Road. Water is encroaching the levee near the
  south end of Island 40 Chute. The camp near Mound City is flooding.
  Water is beginning to flood the settlement near Blue Lake.

* until Saturday May 27.
* At 08 PM Thursday the stage was 41.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 44.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 40.9 feet Friday May 26.
* At 41.0 feet...In Mississippi,farm buildings inside the levee
  southwest of Friars Point are beginning to flood.
