...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood
Warning for portions of the following rivers in southern Indiana...

  East Fork White River...Muscatatuck River...White River...

.Extensive lowland flooding will develop along rivers in southern
Indiana following rains of 2 to more than 4 inches since Monday
morning.  Significant flooding is possible along the Muscatatuck
River in southern Jackson County.  Flooding will affect local and
state roads...agricultural land and river parks. Flooding is
already in progress and will expand in the days ahead.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

* At 10:30 AM Wednesday the stage was 18.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  this afternoon.

  the Muscatatuck River at Wheeler Hollow.
* from this afternoon to Tuesday evening.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to have a maximum value of 23.0
  feet early Saturday morning.
* At 23.5 feet...Extensive flooding in progress affecting local
  residents and closing several local roads.  River residents very
  concerned.

* Flood Warning for
  the East Fork White River near Rivervale.
* from Friday morning to Wednesday March 08.
* At 10:30 AM Wednesday the stage was 14.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday morning and continue to
  rise to near 24.0 feet by Sunday morning.  The river will fall
  below flood stage by Tuesday before midnight.
* At 25.0 feet...During the late March 2008 flood, the Bedford Times
  reported the following County Roads still under water; River Road,
  entire Road; Bartlettsville Road, by the bridge and in the bottoms;
  Judah-Logan Road, by the bridge; Logan Bottoms, the gravel part;
  Donica Church Road, between Logan Bottom and the hill; Peerless
  Road, by Mica Metals; Little Salt Creek Run; Stumphole Bridge Road,
  near Indiana State Road 450; Huron-Williams Road; Lawrenceport
  Road; Rivervale Road and Earl Road.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the East Fork White River near Bedford.
* from Saturday morning to Tuesday evening.
* At  8:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late Saturday morning and
  continue to rise to near 21.4 feet by Sunday evening.  The river
  will fall below flood stage by late Tuesday morning.
* At 21.2 feet...At this level during December 2013 backwater reached
  the tailwater of Lake Monroe as Salt Creek stopped falling.  The
  crest of the river followed 2 days later and reached 27.6 feet at
  Bedford and caused Salt Creek to rise nearly 6 feet at the
  tailwater of Monroe Lake.

  the East Fork White River at Williams.
* from late Saturday night to Wednesday March 08.
* At  8:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 4.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Sunday morning and
  continue to rise to near 8.6 feet by early Monday morning.  The
  river will fall below flood stage by Tuesday early afternoon.
* At 8.6 feet...Water is on State Road 450 at the railroad trestle
  just east of Williams.

  the White River at Spencer.
* from Friday morning to Saturday morning.
* At 10:30 AM Wednesday the stage was 6.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday morning and continue to
  rise to near 14.4 feet by Friday early afternoon.  The river will
  fall below flood stage by Friday before midnight.
* At 14.0 feet...Lowland flooding begins in the Spencer and Gosport
  areas.  The river begins to backup Rattlesnake, Fall, McCormicks,
  Limestone, Big, and Bean Blossom Creeks.  Spencer Public Access
  site begins to flood.

* At 10:30 AM Wednesday the stage was 4.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Saturday morning and continue
  to rise to near 13.1 feet by Saturday morning.  The river will fall
  below flood stage by Saturday early afternoon.
* At 13.0 feet...Flooding of a few lowlands begins in Greene County.
* At 13.0 feet...Flooding of a few lowlands begins in Greene County.
