This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

No weather hazards are expected on Saturday. Areas of low clouds
and fog are expected across the eastern counties after midnight
tonight into Sunday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Days 2-7 Discussion
-------------------

A strong winter storm will impact SW Kansas Sunday and Monday
with strong winds, as well as wintry precipitation confined mainly
to the northern counties. Snow and blowing snow are expected to
impact travel mainly across the northern and northwest counties
Sunday night into Monday morning. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3
inches are expected, along with significant blowing and drifting.
A winter weather advisory for snow and blowing snow has been
issued for Hamilton, Kearny, Finney, Scott, Lane, Ness, Trego and
Ellis counties from 6 AM Sunday through 6 AM Monday.

Very strong northwest winds are expected behind the departing
storm system Sunday night through Monday, with gusts near 50 mph
expected.
