Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

A warm front continued to push east into the Upper Midwest during
the late evening and overnight ours. Most lows across the area
occurred during the evening, with temperatures slowly rising
during the overnight hours. Temperatures across the region early
this morning ranged from some 30s in the eastern Wisconsin to the
40s across much of Minnesota and Iowa.

The warm front will continue moving east across the region today.
The front will bring a chance of light rain to mainly northeast
Minnesota and northern Wisconsin this afternoon. It is going to be
a warm and breezy day under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Highs
today are going to range from some 40s across the northland to
the 60s across most of Iowa, as much as 20 degrees above the late
November normals.

A cold front is going to push southeast across the region later
this afternoon and tonight, but temperatures tonight will remain
above normal. Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected behind the
front tonight, with lows ranging from the 20s across the northland
to the 30s across the south half of the region.

Looking ahead, a mostly sunny day is expected on Saturday with
highs mostly in the mid 30s to around 50.
