Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Early this afternoon the sky was mostly cloudy to overcast.
Temperatures ranged from the low 60s in Eastern Colorado behind a
warm front, to the 30s in Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska
ahead of the front.

OUTLOOK... Tonight light westerly winds will turn to the northwest
ahead of a cold front that will move through Sunday morning.  Lows
will be warmer than last night, only falling into the 20s, as the
warm front is pushed east across the Tri-State Region ahead of the
cold front.

Sunday morning the cold front will move through the Tri-State Region
before mid morning.  Behind the front light snow may occur for
locations west of Highway 25 and north of Highway 40.  The best
chance for snow will be north of I-70.  The snow will end before
noon with only a dusting expected.  Meanwhile northwest winds will
become breezy by late morning then decline in the early afternoon.
Highs will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.
