Showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the Mid-South
today. However, this activity will remain relatively scattered in
nature and many areas will remain dry. Afternoon highs today will
be in the lower 90s over northeast Arkansas, warming into the mid
90s across the remainder of the Mid-South. The potential for
showers and thunderstorms will decrease after sunset, with
temperatures falling into the mid to upper 70s overnight.

Rain chances will increase for the latter half of the work-week,
continuing into the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms are likely
across the region, with high temperatures generally in the mid 80s
to near 90 degrees. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible.
