South winds and moisture will increase across the Mid South later
today. Highs this afternoon will range from the middle 60s to the
lower to middle 70s with the warmest temperatures across portions of
Eastern Arkansas and Northwest Mississippi.

An area of low pressure and a cold front will move into the area
later tonight into Saturday. This will bring increased chances for
showers and thunderstorms along with a period of gusty winds
followed by much cooler air.

High pressure will build in behind the frontal passage starting
Sunday through the middle of next week. Temperatures will gradually
warm back to seasonal averages.
