Fog has developed across the area and will likely last into the
pre dawn hours. Over some areas, the fog will be dense, with
visibilities at or less than a quarter mile. As winds become
westerly, the situation should improve toward day break or a
little before. In the meantime, slow down, use low beam
headlights, and be aware that roads could be very slick due to the
earlier snowfall.

There are indications that conditions could become foggy before
day break. Fog currently resides west of Interstate 29 toward the
James River valley, and some of this fog could move eastward. If
this happens, visibilities could fall at or below a quarter mile
in some areas before sunrise, then improve toward mid morning as
westerly winds become a bit stronger. In the meantime, use low
beam headlights in foggy areas and roads could be very slick due
to the previous snowfall.
