...Mixed precipitation and snow above 6500 feet...

A mix of rain and snow at most elevations today will give way to
snow dropping to around 6500 feet this evening and overnight.
Accumulating snow will generally remain light, but passes could
see a few inches of slushy snow accumulation overnight.
Temperatures dropping to near freezing could produce some icy
spots on the roadways as well. Be cautious while traveling.
Campers and outdoor enthusiasts should be prepared for below
normal temperatures and early winter weather conditions.
