A National Weather Service storm survey revealed that an EF-1
tornado touched down near the Spring River approximately two miles
southeast of Hoberg Missouri.

The tornado path was about one mile in length, and destroyed four
outbuildings, an irrigation system, two ski boats, and numerous
trees. One home, a larger outbuilding, and some canoes experienced
minor damaged.

Wind speeds were estimated at 95 mph.
