.SYNOPSIS...
A Catalina Eddy spinning over the coastal waters this week will
bring low clouds each night and morning that will clear back to the
coast each afternoon. Seasonal temperatures are forecast west of the
mountains through Sunday, but the mountains and deserts will see a
few degrees of warming this weekend.

.DISCUSSION...FOR EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA INCLUDING ORANGE...
SAN DIEGO...WESTERN RIVERSIDE AND SOUTHWESTERN SAN BERNARDINO
COUNTIES...

Skies cleared back to the coastal waters this morning, but low
clouds were already reforming near Pt Loma this afternoon. They will
increase in coverage this evening and move inland tonight as the
Catalina Eddy reforms. This eddy will persist through Friday morning
with lows clouds each night retreating back to the coast each
afternoon. Clearing may be limited at the coast.

Highs through Sunday will be close to the seasonal norms in the
coastal and valley areas. Over the weekend the mountains and deserts
will see a few degrees of warming.

The outlook for early next week shows little overall change in the
weather as a weak Pacific trough moves inland across SoCal Monday
through Wednesday.
