THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR INLAND PORTIONS OF THE SAN
FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND MONTEREY BAY AREA.

.DAY ONE...FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT

A COLD AND DRY AIRMASS HAS SETTLED OVER THE AREA AND TEMPERATURES
WILL DROP QUICKLY AFTER SUNSET. OVERNIGHT LOWS ARE EXPECTED TO
DROP TO NEAR FREEZING...OR EVEN SLIGHTLY BELOW FREEZING IN WIND
SHELTERED VALLEYS. PATCHY FROST IS LIKELY LATE TONIGHT.

THOSE LIVING IN VALLEYS PRONE TO COLD CONDITIONS ON CLEAR CALM
WINTER NIGHTS SHOULD TAKE ACTION TO PROTECT FROST-SENSITIVE
PLANTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

NIGHT TIME TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO MODERATE A BIT...WITH
PATCHY FROST LARGELY CONFINED TO JUST THE COLDEST INTERIOR
LOCATIONS.

THERE ARE NOW INDICATIONS THAT AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING
IN FROM THE NORTH COULD POTENTIALLY BRING COOL AND SHOWERY
CONDITIONS IN THE TUESDAY TO WEDNESDAY TIME FRAME...ALONG WITH
POSSIBLE SNOW SHOWERS IN THE HIGHER HILLS.

A COOL NIGHT IS FORECAST. TEMPERATURES WILL DIP INTO THE MID AND
UPPER 30S LATE TONIGHT AND PATCHY FROST IS POSSIBLE IN COLDER LOW
LYING AREAS AROUND SUNRISE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

NIGHT TIME TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO MODERATE A BIT...LIKELY
SUFFICIENT TO PRECLUDE ANY OCCURRENCE OF FROST.
