northeast along a cold along and east of the Padre Island roughly
from Port Mansfield and extending northeast. The showers are
likely to persist through 3 am with periods of light to moderate
rainfall and some gusty winds as the begins to move southeast.

Through 3 am...light rain along with embedded showers to continue
developing across portions of Deep South Texas and the Rio Grande
Valley. The showers are developing behind a cold front that is
slowly moving through the region. Rain amounts will be light with
accumulations of less than one tenth of an inch. Temperatures to
fall slowly overnight nearing 50 degrees across the Northern
ranchlands and fall into the 50s in the Rio Grande Valley
overnight.
