.NOW...
AT 950 PM MDT...METEOROLOGISTS AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
WERE TRACKING AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING NORTH
OUT OF LUNA COUNTY INTO SOUTHERN SIERRA COUNTY. THIS AREA OF LIGHT
TO MODERATE RAIN WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. OTHER WEAK STORMS
WERE BEGINNING TO DEVELOP OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHERN AND WESTERN
DONA ANA COUNTY. THE SIERRA COUNTY STORMS WERE PRODUCING A LOT OF
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. FLOODING RAINS ARE NOT EXPECTED...HOWEVER
SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE. THE MOST LIKELY
SIGNIFICANT IMPACT FROM ANY STORM THAT MOVE TOWARD YOUR LOCATION
WILL BE VERY GUSTY WINDS IN THE 45 TO 55 MPH RANGE.

STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN TO DIMINISH IN THE LATE EVENING HOURS
BETWEEN 10 PM AND MIDNIGHT.

IF STORMS MOVE TOWARD YOUR LOCATION...TAKE SHELTER FROM THE
LIGHTNING...AND WATCH FOR BLOWING DUST AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES IF
TRAVELING.
