WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ AND
SOUTHERN CT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
424 AM EDT FRI JUL 31 2015

MAINLY DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE WEEKEND. WEAK HIGH
PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN FROM THE SOUTH AND WEST...ALLOWING FOR MORE
OF A WESTERLY FLOW. A RESPITE FROM THE HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED TODAY
WITH DEWPOINTS IN THE MID 50S TO LOWER 60S FOR THE AFTERNOON BUT
STILL A VERY WARM DAY...WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S.

THE HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD IN TONIGHT BUT EARLY ON
SATURDAY...THIS WILL BEGIN DRIFTING AWAY FROM THE REGION. THIS
WILL EVENTUALLY GIVE WAY TO A SERIES OF WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARIES TO
IMPACT THE REGION OVER THE REST OF THE WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK.
CONTINUED VERY WARM CONDITIONS WITH A LITTLE MORE HUMIDITY IS
EXPECTED AS FLOW BECOMES MORE SOUTHERLY ON AVERAGE. THE NEXT
POSSIBILITY FOR ANY SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY NIGHT.
