ANOTHER TYPICAL EARLY SEPTEMBER DAY WAS PRESENT ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND
WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 92 DEGREES AT
NEWKIRK AND EL RENO TO 101 DEGREES AT FREEDOM. WINDS WERE FROM THE
SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH...WITH GUSTS OVER 20 MPH. THE
HIGHEST WIND GUST WAS 35 MPH AT LAHOMA. THE SKY WAS MOSTLY SUNNY.

THIS EVENING...TEMPERATURES HAVE COOLED AROUND 10 DEGREES FROM THE
AFTERNOON HIGHS. WINDS HAVE BEEN FROM THE SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST AT 5 TO
10 MPH....WITH GUSTS UP TO 15 MPH. THE SKY HAS BEEN MOSTLY CLEAR.
