...Period Of Steady Light To Moderate Snow This Evening...

Light to moderate snow will continue this evening across central
and southern portions of Connecticut into Rhode Island and
southeast Massachusetts. The heaviest snow will fall through about
9 pm across Connecticut, but until 10 pm or 11 pm into Rhode
Island and southeast Massachusetts. Snowfall totals of 1 to 2
inches will be common across this area before snow tapers off
later this evening.

South of Providence, Taunton and Plymouth snow amounts will be
higher with totals of 2 to 4 inches expected. Given the cold
temperatures untreated surfaces especially secondary roadways will
become snow covered and slippery. Thus exercise caution and allow
extra time to reach your destination.
