...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN MORGAN...NORTHEASTERN
BREATHITT...MAGOFFIN AND EAST CENTRAL WOLFE COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM
EDT...

At 900 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Guage, or 11 miles east of Jackson, moving east at
20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Salyersville, Mason, Simpson, Fredville, Burkhart, Lexie, Bethanna,
Gifford, Falcon, Carver, Daisydell, Wonnie, Burning Fork, Kernie,
Orchard, Rock Lick, West Royalton Station, Carver Station, Moct, and
Gapville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
