THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE WESTERN TWO THIRDS OF
UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A PERSISTENT MOIST WESTERN FLOW ALOFT WILL MAINTAIN WIDESPREAD
PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE NORTHERN THIRD OF THE OUTLOOK AREA.
SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS...
WITH THE NORTHERN WASATCH RANGE RECEIVING THE GREATEST AMOUNTS.
VALLEY LOCATIONS WILL SEE A TRANSITION FROM SNOW TO RAIN OR A
RAIN AND SNOW MIX TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE NORTHERN
MOUNTAINS THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE GREATEST AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR
ALONG THE WASATCH RANGE...WITH THE NORTHERN WASATCH RANGE LIKELY
TO RECEIVE THE MOST SNOW. VALLEY LOCATIONS WILL BOUNCE BETWEEN
RAIN OR A RAIN AND SNOW MIX THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...THEN TURN
PRIMARILY TO SNOW AGAIN LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY. THE RAIN
AND SNOW COULD BRIEFLY REACH INTO WEST-CENTRAL THROUGH SOUTHWEST
UTAH ON SUNDAY.

PRECIPITATION WILL RETREAT NORTH INTO EXTREME NORTHERN UTAH EARLY
IN THE WEEK. ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW WILL SPREAD SOUTH ACROSS MUCH
OF THE OUTLOOK AREA DURING THE MIDDLE PORTION OF THE WEEK.
