...The National Weather Service in Tampa Fl has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers...

  Withlacoochee At Dunnellon

.Very heavy rain fell last week as Hurricane Irma passed by the area. Extensive flooding recently occured upstream on the Withlacoochee River due to the heavy rain falling in the headwaters. This water has slowly routed downstream and will now bring rises to the river in northern Citrus county through next week with minor flooding likely to begin early in the week.


Do not drive cars through flooded areas.

The National Weather Service in Tampa Fl has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Withlacoochee At Dunnellon
* From Wednesday morning until further notice.
* At 08 PM Saturday the stage was...28.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by Wednesday morning and
  continue to rise to near 29.1 feet by Thursday evening. Additional rises are
  possible thereafter.
* Impact...at 29.0 feet...Docks and boat ramps flood.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 29.1 feet on Oct 5
