Survey Summary:
A storm survey performed by the National Weather Service preliminarily
confirmed a breif EF0 tornado, with maximum winds of 65 MPH, occurred in
central Fayette County near New Salem. This is the first tornado in Fayette
County since August 25th, 2023.

Additional details and a final information statement will be sent
tomorrow to summarize the tornado and impacts.
