The National Weather Service in TOPEKA has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Republic County in north central Kansas...
  Washington County in north central Kansas...
  Cloud County in north central Kansas...

* Until 615 PM CDT

* At 1217 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow
  moving thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the
  advisory area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen, and
  additional heavy rainfall is expected this afternoon.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Concordia, Belleville, Washington, Clyde, Hanover, Clifton,
  Miltonvale, Glasco, Linn, Scandia, Greenleaf, Jamestown, Courtland,
  Cuba, Morrowville, Norway, Republic, Palmer, Haddam and Munden.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
