This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Southerly winds increase this morning and will be sustained 20-30
mph with gusts of 35-45 mph possible. A wind advisory is in effect
along and west of Manhattan where the strongest winds are
forecast. This will also bring very high fire danger across the
area today. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

There is a chance for strong to severe storms on Tuesday afternoon
into the evening, mainly along and southeast of I-35, as a front
moves through eastern Kansas. The main hazards would be large hail
and damaging wind gusts with the stronger storms.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
