THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IS IN EFFECT. PEAK HEAT INDEX VALUES
WILL BE IN THE 104 TO 112 DEGREE RANGE THIS AFTERNOON.

THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT
ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

THE EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING CONTINUES THROUGH SATURDAY FOR THE
ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA WITH AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES PEAKING FROM
103 TO 113. THE EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED
THROUGH SUNDAY FOR MUCH OF NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL KANSAS.
HEAT INDEX VALUES NEAR 105 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED ON SUNDAY.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL AND
NORTHEAST KANSAS SATURDAY NIGHT. A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD BE
STRONG TO SEVERE ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.
