This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Heat indices will range from 105 to 113 this afternoon. An
excessive heat warning remains in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

An excessive heat warning remains in effect through 8 pm
Saturday. Heat indices will range from 100 to 110 degrees Saturday
afternoon. A few strong to severe storms are possible Saturday
afternoon and evening, mainly to the north of I-70. Damaging wind
gusts will be the primary hazard.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
