THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

AREAS OF THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY RAIN WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION
THROUGH MID AFTERNOON. SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE HEAVY
RAIN...WITH THE BEST CHANCE SOUTH OF AN EMPORIA TO LAWRENCE LINE.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE BY LATE AFTERNOON
AND A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD PRODUCE HAIL UP TO QUARTER SIZE...
WITH THE BEST CHANCE FOR A STRONG STORM WEST OF A COUNCIL GROVE TO
CONCORDIA LINE. POCKETS OF HEAVY RAIN WOULD ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH
ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

ANOTHER MORE ORGANIZED AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS IS THEN EXPECTED TO
MOVE OUT OF WESTERN KANSAS AND ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT THROUGH
EARLY FRIDAY MORNING. AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE ONCE
AGAIN TONIGHT.

ANY OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH TONIGHT WILL HAVE AT LEAST A
SLIGHT CHANCE TO PRODUCE LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IF
MULTIPLE STORMS TRAIN OVER THE SAME AREA FOR A PROLONGED PERIOD.

FLOODING OF THE NEOSHO RIVER WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND
OVERNIGHT. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IN THIS PERIOD COULD BE HEAVY
ENOUGH TO CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING.
