This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A few thunderstorms could produce isolated damaging wind gusts for
Saturday afternoon and evening, mainly southeast of a line from
Holton to Council Grove.

A period of strong winds will follow in the wake of these storms on
Saturday night. Sustained winds of 25 to 30 mph with gusts near 40
mph will be possible, primarily west of a line from Herington to
Marysville. These winds may cause driving difficulties on east to
west roads, including I-70, and blow around any light or unsecured
objects. The winds will rapidly decrease early Sunday morning.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
