Survey Summary:
A strong tornado touched down approximately 1.5 miles southwest of
Westmoreland and traveled through the city producing significant
damage to homes along a 50-100 yard wide path. The tornado
appeared to lift as it crossed highway 99 with little in the way
of additional damage seen east of the highway.  1 fatality
occurred in a mobile home.
