The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for...
  Montague County in north central Texas...
  Northwestern Wise County in north central Texas...
  Jack County in north central Texas...
  Northern Palo Pinto County in north central Texas...

* Until 615 PM CST.

* At 257 PM CST, Doppler radar and rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall across Montague, Jack,
  northwestern Wise and Northern Palo Pinto Counties. Automated rain
  gauges in the area have reported one to two inches of rain.
  Excessive runoff from these thunderstorms will cause minor
  flooding. Areas that are low lying or usually experience poor
  drainage are most likely to experience flooding.
  This means some low water crossings may become impassable.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Bridgeport, Bowie, Jacksboro, Nocona, Alvord, St. Jo, Chico,
  Graford, Bryson, Forestburg, Sunset, Boonsville, Stoneburg, Possum
  Kingdom State Park, Newport, Runaway Bay and Lake Bridgeport.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
