...The Flood Warning has ended for the following rivers in

  Skokomish River near Potlatch affecting Mason County.
  White R at R St. affecting King and Pierce Counties.

                South West And Olympic Regions
The Skokomish river is receding and no longer poses a flood threat.
The White river will remain just below flood flow most of the day
before begining to fall this evening. Planned reservoir regulation
upstream will cause periodic fluctuations in the river level but it
is expected to stay below flood flow.


Do not drive cars...vans...or trucks through flooded areas...this is
the cause of most flood related deaths in Washington. Be alert for
rapid changes and monitor developments by listening to NOAA Weather
radio or other local media.

The Flood Warning has ended for
  The Skokomish River near Potlatch
* At  9:00 AM Friday the stage was 16.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Fell below flood stage early this morning.
* Forecast...The river fell below flood stage  1:45 AM Friday early
  this morning and will continue to fall.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet...the Skokomish River will locally spill over
  its banks into low areas of the Skokomish Valley.

The Flood Warning has ended for
  The White R at R St.
* At  8:45 AM Friday the flow was 4920 cfs.
* Flood flow is 5500 cfs.
* Forecast...The river will hover just below flood flow near 4600 to
  5100 cfs most of the day with periodic drops due to Mud Mountain
  Dam regulation. The river will be falling starting this evening
  and continue to fall.
