The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  An Ice Jam in...
  Southeastern Dawson County in northeastern Montana...

* Until 1130 AM MST Monday

* At 1126 AM MST, the Yellowstone River gauge at Glendive indicated
  ice jam flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Glendive and West Glendive.

Flood waters are moving down the Yellowstone river from Terry to
Glendive. Current level is 54.19 feet, but sudden and drastic
changes in the river level are expected with ice jams for at least
the next 24 hours. Toepke Park on the east side of the river begins
to flood at 54 feet.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
