This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
New Mexico, southwest New Mexico, and southwest Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

West winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 45 mph are expected
across the region today, with the strongest gusts expected west of
desert mountain ranges. Light blowing dust is likely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph will be possible along the west-facing
slopes of the Franklin, Organ, and Hueco Mountains as a backdoor
cold front pushes through the area Sunday morning. Gusts to 45
mph will be possible in these same areas late Sunday night.

Isolated to Scattered thunderstorms are expected Monday through
Friday across the area as moisture increases behind the backdoor
front. At this time, thunderstorms look to remain sub-severe.
