This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
New Mexico and southwest Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Friday and
Saturday over portions of the area near and east of the Rio Grande
as an upper level disturbance digs in over the Great Basin and
pulls a narrow plume of subtropical moisture back of the area.
Meanwhile, increasing southeast low level flow with increasing
south-southwest winds aloft will result in strong wind shear
sufficient for strong to severe thunderstorms. The main risk will
be from damaging wind gusts and large hail.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed for the next couple of days.
