This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Arizona...northeast Arizona and west central Arizona.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Hazardous weather is not expected through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

An approaching storm system will cause strong winds to develop
Thursday afternoon and evening across most of northern Arizona and
a Wind Advisory has been issued. The strongest winds are
anticipated over northwest Coconino County including Grand Canyon
South and North rims where a High Wind Warning is in effect.
Strong winds will persist into Friday morning in east central
Arizona including Springerville and Saint Johns.

Showers and thunderstorms will accompany the cold front as it
moves across the region Thursday evening, with snow levels falling
to 4500 to 5500 feet behind the front after midnight. Some light
snow accumulations are possible above 6000 feet, mainly over
northern and eastern Arizona as low pressure lingers over the area
into Saturday.


Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather according to
standard operating procedures.
