This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon into
the early evening, across mainly south-central and southeast Kansas.
Large hail to golfball size and damaging winds are possible. A brief
tornado or two will be possible in south-central Kansas and the
Flint Hills.

Southerly winds of 25 to 30 mph gusting to 45 mph will affect the
Flint Hills and southeast Kansas this morning.

Very high to extreme grassland fire danger is likely from late this
morning through this afternoon, with the most elevated fire danger
conditions expected across south-central kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Another chance for strong and perhaps a few severe storms will be
on Sunday afternoon and evening for portions of southern Kansas.
The main concerns will be large hail and damaging winds.

The next chance of thunderstorms will be Tuesday night through
Thursday across south-central and southeast Kansas.

A few storm spotters may be needed this afternoon and early this
evening, across south-central and southeast Kansas.
