This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southwest North
Carolina...East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Fog is expected to continue area wide during the early morning
hours through 10 AM. The fog will be dense in places with
visibilities reduced to less than one quarter mile. Motorists
should exercise caution while driving this morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A line of severe storms will move into the region late Friday
night into early Saturday morning. The main threat from these
storms will be damaging winds and hail up to the size of quarters.
Additionally, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The timing
is still uncertain, but at this time, it appears the best time

Saturday morning. The main threat area will be north of I-40 and
west of I-75, although a severe storm cannot be ruled out anywhere
in the forecast area.

In addition, strong southerly winds ahead of the front on Friday
may approach advisory level criteria. Additionally, strong
northwesterly winds behind the front on Saturday will approach
advisory level criteria.

Saturday morning.
