This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Near critical fire weather conditions are expected from late this
morning through the evening hours today due to gusty northwest
winds, and low relative humidity values generally south of a
Sterling City to Brady line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Near critical fire weather conditions will affect the entire area
Thursday afternoon due to southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph,
relative humidity values from 15 to 20 percent, and temperatures 5
to 10 degrees above normal.

There is a chance for thunderstorms from Friday afternoon through
Saturday night. A few storms may approach severe levels Friday
afternoon and evening, mainly north and east of a Sweetwater to
Brownwood line.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
