.NOW...
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE DRIFTING WEST ACROSS THE
NORTHERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY...THE GREATER DELTA REGION AND
PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY.

THROUGH 815 PM...LOOK FOR MOST OF THE ACTIVITY TO AFFECT AREAS NEAR
TURLOCK...MODESTO...STOCKTON...RIO VISTA...LODI AND INTO AT LEAST
SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE SACRAMENTO METROPOLITAN AREA.

BRIEF HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS COULD GENERATE LOCAL PONDING ON THE ROAD
SURFACES. IN ADDITION...SLIPPERY SPOTS COULD DEVELOP IN THESE SHOWER
AREAS DUE TO OIL BUILDUP ON THE ROAD SURFACES. USE EXTRA CAUTION AT
THE INTERSECTIONS AND ON FREEWAY RAMPS. SLOW DOWN WHEN DRIVING
