REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

Clear skies dominated eastern Colorado and western Kansas overnight.
Low temperatures ranged from the single digits above zero in
northeast Kansas, to the upper teens to around 20 in southwest
Kansas and southeast Colorado.
Northwesterly flow over the plains states will persist into tonight,
while an upper level low pressure system in the desert southwest
approaches southwest Kansas by mid day tomorrow. Surface low
pressure troughing in eastern Colorado will strengthen and expand
east into western Kansas tonight and tonight, with temperatures
warming to near normal in southwest Kansas. Little active weather is
expected for the next 24 hours.
High temperatures today will range from the upper 30s in eastern
Kansas, to the low 50s in southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma
panhandle. Lows tonight will range from the mid teens in northern
Kansas and southern Nebraska, to the upper 20s in southern Kansas
and northern Oklahoma.
