OVERNIGHT...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED NORTHEAST
ACROSS THE SANDHILLS REGION. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WERE GENERALLY
LIGHT. HUMID CONDITIONS KEPT LOW TEMPERATURES RATHER WARM FOR
EARLY SEPTEMBER...IN THE 60S AND LOW 70S.

TODAY...THE HEAT WILL CONTINUE AS AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES CLIMB
INTO THE 90S UNDER MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. A FEW STORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE IN WESTERN NEBRASKA LATE IN THE DAY. WINDS WILL BE
SOUTHERLY AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
