...Slippery Conditions in the Fairbanks Area...

Road conditions in the Fairbanks area are very slippery this
morning. Snow that fell overnight partially melted on roads and
has caused ice patches. Temperatures today are expected to remain
below freezing, so ice and slippery conditions will persist
through the day.

One inch of snow fell at the Fairbanks Airport Monday evening and
Monday night, with slightly more snow in the hills north of town.
