...PATCHES OF BLACK ICE HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS THE REGION AND ROADS
ARE SLICK...

SKIES WERE CLEAR THROUGH THE NIGHT AND INTO THIS MORNING.
TEMPERATURES WERE HOVERING NEAR FREEZING AS WELL...AND WITH
MOISTURE LINGERING FROM MELTING ICE YESTERDAY...THIS HAS RESULTED
IN PATCHES OF BLACK ICE...EVEN ON TREATED ROADS...PARKING
LOTS...AND SIDEWALKS.

MOTORISTS SHOULD BE CAREFUL WHEN DRIVING THIS MORNING...AND BE
ALERT FOR CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS. SURFACES THAT APPEAR TO BE
JUST WET MAY HAVE A THIN COATING OF FROST OR ICE. SLOW DOWN AND
LEAVE PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN YOU AND THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF YOU.
BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES AND WHEN MAKING
TURNS.

TEMPERATURES WILL BEGIN TO WARM BY 830 AM...AND CONDITIONS SHOULD
IMPROVE BETWEEN 9 AND 10 AM.
