...BLOWING SNOW WILL AFFECT WESTERN GLACIER AND WESTERN PONDERA
COUNTIES...

At 219 PM MST, widespread westerly winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts
to 50 mph were causing areas of reduced visibility in blowing snow
along the northern Rocky Mountain Front. These conditions will
continue into this evening.

Locations impacted include...
East Glacier Park Village, East Glacier Park, Kiowa, Heart Butte,
Many Glacier, Babb, Marias Pass, Goat Haunt, Saint Mary and Logan
Pass.

This includes the following highways...
highway 2 between mile markers 198 and 216.
highway 89 between mile markers 8 and 49.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in blowing snow situations,
causing visibilities to fall below one mile at times. Be prepared
for snow or ice covered roads, as snow will likely blow onto
roadways from surrounding areas. Slow down and allow extra time when
traveling.
