.NOW...
AT 7:00 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS INDICATED A
BAND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING ACROSS PARTS OF
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...AND INTO WESTERN ARKANSAS. THE SHOWERS AND
STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.

THROUGH 8:30 AM...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...WITH SOME OF THIS
ACTIVITY BRIEFLY IMPACTING SOUTHERN SEBASTIAN COUNTY IN ARKANSAS.
MOST LOCATIONS AFFECTED CAN EXPECT OCCASIONAL SHOWERS...RESULTING
IN AVERAGE HOURLY RAINFALL OF ONE TENTH TO ONE QUARTER INCH.
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF ONE INCH PER HOUR WILL BE
POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS THAT OCCUR...ALONG WITH THE
POTENTIAL FOR BRIEF GUSTY WINDS. THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THE STORMS
MAY ALSO RESULT IN LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING.
